I think I have an issue that is related. My machine has a Windows 7
partition that is detected by os-prober but ubiquity cannot see it.
Note that this machine although has UEFI, it is disabled from the BIOS.
It originally came with Windows 8, was reformatted with Windows 7, and
now I am trying to
I tried this again with the same result. This time I made core dumps of:
1. the hogger "udisks-daemon"
2. the hogger "udisks-helper-modify-partition"
3. the two hogger's parent process, which is also "udisks-daemon"
I made them with kill -STOP pid && gcore pid

Good work KarlRelton. Installing version 1.2.2 of gstreamer1.0
-plugings-ugly in saucy (by using the latest package from Trusty
archive) along with liborc-0.4.0 (dependancy) seems to have fixed mine
as well. No more booting into Windows just to watch DVDs.

Installer doesn't show encrypted partit
I don't know if it's related or not, but since a month or so back I can
not drag or move *any* window. Fully updated Ubuntu 13.10 with Unity
7.1.2 and Compiz 0.9.10.2.
While I have a dual-screen setup, I can't drag a window even withing a
single screen. I can maximize, minimize and resize normally
