I think this is related: I have three printers. GTK/Gnome based apps
maintain the OS default. KDE apps default to the first printer
alphabetically in my printer list, and there's no way to set a default
printer in KDE. This is annoying because I end up sending my print jobs
to another office.

I have the same problem.
I just installed 13.10 on a laptop. The location was automatically
detected to be Amsterdam (Netherlands). Language is set to English (US).
Texmaker's interface is in Dutch although I never set anything to any
language but English.
Does anyone have an suggestion?

By "Doesn't work" do you mean it exhibits the bug, or there is some
other issue?
During the bisect, there will be several kernels to test. Some will
exhibit this bug and some will not. I update the bisect with which
kernels have the bug and which do not, and eventually we will locate the

The only small issue is that if I hang up on the other end, the instant
it's hung up it immediately blanks where we may want it to stay on for a
couple more seconds to look at the call stats. I'll add this comment to
the bug, since it may be that the dialer would need to release later
than sooner

We've been concentrating on gtk, which is a component. I'd like to
suggest taking a fresh look at Unity's global menu component. There
we're changes made to the global menu in 13.10, which may account for

Unfortunately, we both migrated our PCs from Ubuntu to Kubuntu almost a
year ago and, sadly, we wont go back in the foreseeable future as KDE is
behaving so much better...
