On my system the bios boot menu gives two different options, one for
bios and one for EFI. They are labeled something like "Ubuntu" and
"Data Trend Flash Drive". Currently it is not possible to pick which

installer failed to complete with existing
I simply used the manufacturer bios update tool through windows on the
laptop then booted into ubuntu once the update was complete. The
problem persists in exactly the same manner as before. The output for
those commands are 217 and 09/07/2012 respectively.
If there is anything else I can help
It looks like this was some missing support in ntfsresize. Given that
this was over 5 years ago, and ntfs support has come a long way in that
time, I'm pretty sure this has been fixed.
