Same Problem here (Unity, Compiz) after upgrading to saucy. Disabling
the "Destkop-based viewport switching" makes scrolling in gedit,
nautilus... work. Enabling -> scrolling stops working.
Firefox, Thunerbird, Libre Office.. are uneffected and working in both

I enabled the one instance option. But it only works if the first

Unbind not working as expected

I'm running 12.04. When I ran update manager today it tried to install kernel
3.8.0-33 which very quickly filled the hdd to 100% and this particular file had
become 35G:
/lib/modules/3.8.0-33-generic/modules.ccwmap
in htop I saw that depmod was using 100% of one of the cores.
I've since delete

This bug is in mpd 17, comes with ubuntu 13.10. After i removed mpd and
installed the package from 13.04 (mpd_0.16.5-1ubuntu4_amd64) streaming works
again.
I tried local with radiotray and the same problem. The alsa output works, so no
problem with the file.

On the Saucy (13.10) 64-bit image provided by Amazon web services, `stop
salt-master` causes upstart to hang.
This makes it difficult to even un-install salt-master. I've mentioned
this problem upstream* in an issue that shows related behaviour.

This is looking more and more like a X server resource leak.
I reached this state again after a couple of days (as I usually do) and
tried to capture some information to compare with the clean-state data,
so I closed everything I had open until I had only the clients that I
normally have right aft
Well the joy did not last long - after third rebootthe D-Bus problem
occurs again and I had to pkill and restart everything like above.
