boot on one or another as will.
Xubuntu 13.10 is freshly installed, not much customized but updates applied and
rebooted.

Open "The Dictator", crashes in a very similar way to LP: #1094499 but since I
got the fixed package I am not sure why is still crashing.
Doesn't matter if opening with VLC or Dragon Player, crashes exactly the same

On Kubuntu 13.10 the resolv.conf update on "up" is working, but on
"down" it does not revert to the default resolv.conf.

On the new Macbook Pro 15 Haswell/Retina 11.1 the speakers do not work
in Ubuntu 13.10.
I tried adding "options snd_hda_intel model=mbp101" (and mbp111) to
alsa-base.conf but this does not work.
Reinstalling alsa-base and pulseaudio together with sudo alsa force-
reload al
Lars Noodén, if it's not terribly inconvenient, it would be helpful to
know if this problem is reproducible with external mouse and keyboard.
