Just installed 13.10 on my laptop with two batteries (previously running
Gentoo). Got worried when battery seemed to be draining much faster than
Gentoo/Gnome, but realised it was basing it's calculations on a single
battery. It just went from "0%" to "98%" as the laptop switched between
batteries.
Art (wildart), try just install the latest driver from
http://www.asix.com.tw/search.php , compile it and install, that is
easy. This driver fixes this problem, no more errors.

They just do not realize that there are exactly as many hardware related
problems without hibernate.
Many machines use way to much power in suspend mode and drain the
batteries. When the battery goes off, say after 8-20 hours, you loose

Hi William,
Your PPA really helped me and I was able to set my hotkey to Shift +
Control L, however, CTRL + SHIFT + TAB combination, which I use to
switch to previous tab in browser, doesn't work anyome. I am pretty sure
that is related.
Would appreciate it if you coud take a look at this.

The problem was that .xinitrc/.xsessionrc was not run when using gdm so adding
the lines

to switch from line in to microphone for the pink connector. I don't
think there is an internal mic, but removing it with hda-jack-retask
