Just had this with a custom Ubuntu 12.04 - I got the "unknown sensor
1235" as per #11.
So I downloaded the sources for "quantal/sane-backends" as per #12,
built them on 11.04 (using the -d override switch of `dpkg-
buildpackage`); copied the resulting *.debs to 12.04 machine.

With this version, I can seemingly only boot successfully if I force the
GRUB menu to appear by failing a boot once, then entering GRUB's 'edit'

terminal with the command "ubiquity -d" and I included UUID info from
prior to trying the installation as well as after the failure while
ubiquity was still frozen.

Note: there was a small error in the partial patch from yesterday, it
should just be pkg instead of pkg.name in the mark_install line.
Kubuntu had planned to switch away from jockey for 13.10, but it didn't
get done. We're already working on it for 14.04.

I hope I'm looking in the right place
(http://git.kernel.org/cgit/linux/kernel/git/firmware/linux-firmware.git/tree/rtlwifi).
In kernel git I notice that the size of rtl8192cfw.bin is 13540 bytes, while
the one downloaded from the Realtek website is 16192 bytes. It's a bit hard
with those binary

- Bug #613530 seems to show that this has already been the case in the past
- Downgrading wxgtk to libwxgtk2.8-0_2.8.12.1-11ubuntu3 fixes the problem.
