It appears that the Windows 2008 R2 Hyper-V host is unable to handle the
following scsi command:
MAINTENANCE_IN (scsi command 0xa3) and that is the cause for this
problem.
Due to this reason, we are unable to boot an Ubuntu 13.10 virtual
machine on Hyper-V Server
1.16 will also fix the local provider, which is broken on saucy with
1.14 due to changes in upstart and lxc.

The Compiz opengl plugin is not loading, which is obvious:) So I've
been thinking about why it's not loading on your machine. The "old

The Software Updater dialog changes to one indicating that "You are not
allowed to perform this action".
Additionally, if you wait long enough at the authentication dialog the
software updater window will become only like a pixel or two high.
