One of the neat use cases of the gdb-heap project is the ability to
inspect the Python data structures within Gdb. For some reason, the
current version adapted for Ubuntu 12.04 doesn't seem to categorize the
structures with the C-runtime of Python, so I sought out to find out
I think this bug has been fixed. I tried to repeat the steps (shut down
the PC, open and close quickly the lid) and the PC shut down normally
without suspending. I repeated it three or four times before coming back
here, and it didn't happen again.

The Windows setting on this Toshiba S855 is a checkbox labeled "Fast
Startup", and it is not checked by default, and is not even active until
another link for additional settings is clicked. Definitely not the

Turning off ksm (echo 0 > /sys/kernel/mm/ksm/run) changed the crash I
got.
With ksm off, the crash is now in Xorg. I had to use the vnc viewer to
get the KVM instances past grub's boot prompt.

Found some rock solid and some that disconnect.

PPA testing against the latest version works perfectly for 12.04.2. In
testing, cloud-init provisioned images boot faster and are available
before the Windows Azure fabric reports them ready.

this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #283, so is being marked as such.
I've tried running it multiple times on my desktop and laptop and get
the same error but not certain if it is getting 100% of the updates from
my Other Sources either.

you then. Don't know what happened.
Can this bug be fixed in KVM or is it really to Windows specific? Else I
may have a look at it, never did any KVM development though, should be
fun.

I'm an intensive user of MATLAB.
I was using MATLAB R2010b with 10.10 and later with Ubuntu 11.04. I did that
for a long time.
But a month ago I decided to upgrade to Ubuntu 12.10 and my MATLAB scripts

Steps:
1. Install 12.04.2 stock Ubuntu and boot to desktop.
2. Test if keyboard works as expected.
3. Press the "disable touchpad" hotkey (Fn+F3).
4. Test if keyboard works as expected.
5. Enable -porpose
Thanks for the update! I had to return to 12.10 to fix a login loop issue,
so as soon as I get updated to 3.04 I will retest and let you know.
