saved settings are ignored. Only one monitor is enabled so I have to
configure it on every startup. I've tried to use ubuntu-bug but it has

boot pretty hard, there is no need to quieten the boot if (as on all
kernels but grouper) the kmsg output goes to the ram console (it can
then be read from /proc/last_kmsg from the recovery mode to analyze what
broke) instead of

hidden'?
To my knowledge one workspace is always visible, and that is the current
workspace.
