True "Optimus" (i.e. seamless/transparent transition between GPU's) is
not yet supported. Nvidia has added support for using the nvidia card

So not sure now if this is an issue with Grub2 or the actual update
apps. Installed synaptic which showed all the latest packages on the
system however the Linux 3.9.0-6 was listed but not actually downloaded
yet. Checked it for install and it downloaded. Rebooted system and now
get:
uname -a
Linu
fix it please..

upgraded Banshee. It works!
I had been having the same issue as you but using a Samsung Galaxy SII
on Ubuntu 13.04.

Actually I think they might be working on a fix to this indirectly with
Mir, just like wayland is trying to do.
So maybe this bug (or a new bug) should get attached to Mir so they
don't forget to test it.

The package
wine1.6_1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~ppa1_amd64.deb
contains two files
/usr/bin/wine64-preloader
/usr/bin/wine64
that are also present in
wine1.6-amd64_1.6~rc2-0ubuntu1~ppa1_amd64.deb
I deleted them from the generic package and can confirm that it can be
installed and works fine afterwards.
So, I put in more time than I'd care to admit getting the gnome source
compiling so I could test this. It appears the latest version does not
have this issue, though I could not find a bug directly related to this.
