performed (Kubuntu 13.04 liveUSB via UEFI mode). It would finish

Sadly this is a confirmed problem in nux, and actually is a much bigger
problem then it looks. There is a char text[16] that is storing all the
data coming in from the XIM, which you can imagine 6 CJK chars is to
large to fit in a char[16].

It looks like I didn't upgrade from 13.04 beta to the final release
properly. Since I have done the clean install I have been able to
reboot w/out hanging and power off actually powers off. In addition,
while I have seen a few of the kernel messages about the hard disk, they
do not repeat and the

With Ringtail-13.04 I can access Android 4.2.2 data on my Galaxy Nexus .
Does not show up like a USB device on my desktop but File Manager shows it
and can mount/unmount and copy data to it.

self-assembled desktop PC and have seen the issue a few times since. I
would say in 80% of all attempts, Ubuntu 13.04 boots fine for me.
