yesterday... that I had restored it onto a "cloned" copy of the original HD
that was having the problem.
Today I reinstalled that original HD, deleted newer copy libvirtthe
libvirt.so.0.1000.4 file
and then reinstalled libv

after restarting, 13.04 release was working. I went to pseudo tty and
ran apt-get update and apt-get dist-upgrade and that installed lightdm
and ubuntu-desktop successfully.
My 13.04 system is now working correctly.
However, the error was quite alarming and should be investigated.

This happens to me as well. Two different computers. Using compiz to
hotkey between workspaces causes the display to hang. Also closing the
last window on a workspace. The fix is to alt-tab to something else and
then activity resumes.
My two computers couldn't be more different. One is a X61
I tested the fix originally, but then I'm the one who made the fix.
To be honest, this version is so out of date that it's unlikely anybody
else will verify the change. It's just a not very nice bug to leave in
for anybody who doesn't find their way to the up to date ppa.

Cypress trackpad gets psmouse lost sync / driver resynce
I have just encountered this problem with 12.04 and have tried every
"fix" I can find withour sucess.
I am collecting a lot of errors in the mysql error.log

The patch was accepted upstream. I don't know if it'll be included in a
distro patch for debian, if so I guess we could pull that across into
saucy? Dunno if this is worth a SRU (would be handy for me but...)

I see this same behavior on my Thinkpad w520 since the update this
morning around 10:00 AM (I could suspend properly prior to that). In
the attached pm-suspend log I see awake logs messages consistently 20
seconds or so after suspending. Most of these are from closing the lid,
some from hitting s

Yeah, that's true, but I thought I'd mention it here since Andrew
Shadura seems to be active in Ubuntu too (and i don't have a Debian
account). And since he isn't the original developer of the package,
there's no reason to think he's attached to noweb.
