to lspci) in my Clevo P150EM, and it does not work.
I did a fresh install of 13.04 just two days ago, and it's fully

Installation completed with a workaround that I will document below.
This bug can be summarized in two parts.

#1) GUI Installer crashed with black screen at start of unpacking phase.
Had to reboot.
Unsolved mystery.

#2) Running `sudo apt-get dist-upgrade` gave an error. Workaround
It happened twice while my machine was hooked up to a particular
projector via VGA and when I plugged in and subsequently unplugged my
iPhone via USB. I have not tried to reproduce it since then.

Just one of the fourteen disk volumes on my machine is displayed with a
star and a triangle in the lower-right corner (screenshot attached).
These icons are unlabeled, do not have hover text, are not self-
explanatory, and do not appear to respond to left or right mouse clicks
Tried it again with nouveau.debug=trace but it logged a surprisingly
small amount after the MMIO write error. Probably froze. I couldn't
switch to a virtual console but DPMS(?) worked strangely enough (monitor
both went to sleep and woke up).

- begin editing new spreadsheet and calc freezes (occurs on first event, e.g.
click in cell, type first letter/number), calc window goes grey for upwards of
30 seconds, then unfreezes and normal editing resumes
- opening additional spreadsheets or
from what i understand , the cpu in the dell latitude d600 is an non pae
cpu which 12.10 has an issue with. I ddid the upgrade on it because the
wireless card it had would not work in 12.04 at all but would in 12.1o.
i swapped out the wireless card and downgraded to 12.04 and all is good
now.

"Show desktop" is a simple two word sentence that can have only one
outcome.
"Hide Desktop" is not one of them.

This issue is sort of solved in Ubuntu 13.04
"View Hidden FIles" is no longer an option in the Files menu. The option
was moved into the UI, triggered by clicking a down arrow; is no longer
accessible via HUD.
