situation a bit, but it's not 100%. The best so far was not to call
SmcCloseConnection from DieCB at all. Destructor of
nsNativeAppSupportUnix calls DisconnectFromSM and according to my

I can confirm the same issue with up to date Ubuntu 12.10.
Connecting to solr gives 404s in jetty's logs.
The following fixes the issue:
rm /var/lib/jetty/webapps/solr
ln -s /usr/share/solr/web/ /var/lib/jetty/webapps/solr

The problem with incorrect failures in accountsservice when HOME is on
NFS was also reported in bug 1083605, and a fix has been uploaded to
Ubuntu 13.04. I attach a patch with a fix for 12.04.
accountsservice builds for 12.04 (Precise)

Ubuntu better. I was able to reproduce this bug so I am changing the

As long as the Ubuntu team will not consider this bug in the Unity
Plugin ... Nothing will be done.
The problem is : No future for compiz !
Mir will definetively replace Xorg + Compiz.
