2/ options in alsa-base.conf
3/ update BIOS
Regarding the first step, I have just tried but I would need to fully
install the ubuntu version. As I indicated, I am using the ubuntu live
installation disk only and
I installed the latest kernel you mentioned. And now it works like a
charm.
I added the tag kernel-fixed-upstream.
Thanks a lot for the help. Now I now how to install and test the latest
kernel and will do that first before filing a bug in the future.
