After patching usbmuxd to actually build with inotify support i no
longer see gvfs-afc-volume-monitor wakups using powertop in raring. The
patch should be easy enough to SRU into quantal & precise. Is that

The band-aid is backported already afaik, the real fix should show up in
the next 3.7.x point

Comment #145 are included in 3.7.3. So I guess the real fix you're

It still does not work correctly on today's master. Starting the
computer without a battery, I correctly see the red X on the battery in
systray. Inserting the battery, however, does not remove this X
indicator. I have to restart plasma-desktop, to get it to recognize the
battery.

Click Firefox icon and it does not show a window.
