synergy to control the computer (from the windows computer) and was also
experiencing delayed and repeated inputs (which is most likely related

Upgraded to 13.04. Problem solved.

I suspect it's not a graphics bug. At least in Arch Linux the system
hangs completely, i.e. keys don't work (not even Ctrl+Alt+Del), and also
network stays down. The same happens without X and even with KMS
disabled (kernel parameter radeon.kms=0).

Actually, I take that back. I see that jockey 0.9.7-0ubuntu7.4 is in
-updates currently, but fglrx-experimental-9 won't install properly with
that version of jockey. It looks like 0.9.7-0ubuntu7.5 or
0.9.7-0ubuntu7.6 are required at a minimum.

Jockey says that no propietary drivers are installed in the system, but
I am currently using fglrx driver (see the logs). If I uninistall the
driver and try to install it from jockey (using the Activate button), it
says that some error ocurred and installation failed.

port all apps to Gtk3 and also to Python3. Gtk2 is deprecated, please

successfully set to something with a @ in it. However, when I supplied
the same password to the boot encryption prompt, it read that key as a
