1. switched to the CMS mode, installed Ubuntu, rebooted
3. installed Colin King's patches, rebooted, removed all previous kernel images
just in case, rebooted again and verified that indeed I have the correct

I can confirm the latest skype version 4.1.0.20.0-0ubuntu0.12.04.2
crashes on 64-bit ubuntu 12.04 a few seconds into having called someone
(either with video or without video). Additionally, I noticed I could
not exchange audio with the other person either.

I do think this is hardware related too - we have desktop system on ASUS
i5 and some i7 which worked fine with FC12 but the newer ASUS with i7
2600k CPU - those system crashed every time.

It appears that I have solved the problem related to permissions for
/var/run/motion. Further investigation shows that Motion seems to start
OK and then crashes. This crash does not appear to be related to this
bug 294852. I am running 2 cameras so it may be related to bug 604169.

Dr. Hanna, in Ubuntu 12.04 LTS, you can click Game>Print Multiple
Sudokus. I don't know about Ubuntu 11.10 but I do highly recommend you
upgrade to 12.04 LTS soon.
