My main concern is that chambers didn't bother telling anyone that they
changed their site.
I'm not concerned that en-GB users would be scarse per se (they're not,
en-GB is one of our top-10 localizations), or that they wouldn't use

i installed the latest unity fixes mentioned in the duplicate, and the
problem has been fixed. current uptime is 34 days with no issues. this

This behaviour is corrected if I disable Global Menu Bar integration
3.6.4 addon. Is this a good idea?
Disabling Global Menu Bar integration 3.6.4 addon also corrects slow
display of Firefox folder contents documented in question 218373.

I can reproduce this issue with Raring. It doesn't seem to happen with
Quantal.
The value of 2 for /proc/sys/kernel/tainted may indicate:
#define TAINT_UNSAFE_SMP2
Since I can reproduce the bug, I'll perform a kernel bisect to see what
commit introduced this regression.

I see this is marked as fix released, yet am still suffering from this
problem. Do I need to do anything other than accept the normal Ubuntu
updates to get this fixed?
