Quick follow up: a completely fresh Raring install from 64bit iso
downloaded 2 days ago stalls as described on the first reboot from
install. After that, 10 straight reboots and no stall. `sudo apt-get
dist-upgrade` and reboot 10 times, no stalls.
So for now, let's ignore the first stall after i
the issue should be resolved in raring/quantal from the merge request
comments, jockey in precise might need a similar fix though?

Precise is the first Ubuntu version not to feature a Trilinos release
anymore; the previous releases shipped with outdated version (Trilinos
10.4.0). This bug is to address this issue by providing an up-to-date
Trilinos build for Ubuntu 13.04.

I am using an HP Mini 311. This is a new issue that did not occur in
12.04. The touchpad is now recognized as a synaptics device, after only
being recognized as a USB mouse in 12.04.
Seemingly randomly, after a resume from suspend, the touchpad appears to
be unresponsive.

It does not always happen. However 70% of the time the power cord trick
works. Abouth third of that on the first attempt, otherwise requires
several. If the kworker refuses to calm, reboot and repeat.
1. Start the System Monitor (easiest way to track the CPU usage - Core 1 in
this case)

linux-ti-omap4: Ubuntu-3.2.0-1423.30 -proposed tracker
The issue disappeared today but I don't know for sure what fixed it. The
only thing I remember doing is installing the "libreoffice" package,
which I noticed it was missing in my system. I cannot be sure it was
that installation which fixed the problem though.

For precise this also contains the change from 0.72-3 that cause the bliss
shared library to be explicitly linked against GMP.
This change has been tested in 12.10. Of course I can produce a patch without
it, if needed.
