is easily reproducable on a stock setup which can cause windows to

I have 2 machines runnning 12.04:
1. Lenovo laptop with intel graphics - no problems
2. Desktop with AMD HD7700 - I have this problem all the time, update manager
stays minimized on the unity launcher.
The only way to clear it is to right click->quit and then start update

What it comes down to, I think, is that something non-standard is
killing lightdm that shouldn't be; /var/log/lightdm.log gives us enough
info to know the pid of what's doing the killing, but not the name.
Given that at and cron have just started, it *could* be a strange
cronjob or at job; it's mor

and the page setting is set to A4 Landscape mode and Pages per side is 2, the
margins of the resulting file will be much larger than in A4 "Portrait" mode.

Hi Paul
I have maybe first version of this MB and running Debian wheezy.
I've just installed latest drivers 1.0.25-5.17rc13 - but this didn't fix the
problem(in my case) . Still green out is absolutelly silent.
