Just printed all these very same documents to the very same printer from
Windows 7, and it went beautifully: 182-page pdf, 41-page pdf, 20-page
pdf, 128-page pdf, 18-page pdf - all printed straight off, without a
hitch, as soon as the printer was plugged in.
Where could I find previous kernels, I could then test them one by one
to find out where the problem starts occuring

My Logitech DiNovo Edge keyboard's internal battery status is available in:
/sys/class/power_supply/hid-00:07:61:76:C9:F1-battery
for the first time ever in Ubuntu 12.10. This would seem like a good
thing, except that upower indicator reports it as a regular
laptop/system bat
While having apport collection info about upower, it made the kernel
crash with nullpointer deref in kernel proc khidpd. Reboot failed,
kernel was semi-hung afterwords. I suspect the crash might be triggered
by reading/probing stuff about bluetooth or whatever. I have no time at
the moment to repor

/var/cache/bind is not writeable by the bind group after an upgrade, but
is writeable after a clean install.

I recently download edubuntu 12.04.1 LTS from http://www.edubuntu-
fr.org/telechargement and I've got the kernel panic !
My PC is a simple desktop with an old AMD Duron 1400MHz on ASUS A7N8X-X and 1GB

I can confirm the above. Document search works occasionally in the
activities overview (I cannot reproduce the conditions), but it doesn't
work for me 99% of the time.
Any hints, or workarounds?
