The worst result in 12.04 occurs when I switch users. All characters
except the ones in the topbar are garbled even the characters of Conky
are garbled beyond any recognition. The desktop picture is garbled too.

I have now tried to fix this apport problem. I got a python error about
a missing module. Installing python-gi fixed the problem (but I still
get some python errors). In the end I had to install apport, python-
apport, python-launchpadlib and python-gi. I hope there is now nothing

When I re-boot my laptop the Bluetooth indicator comes on, even though I had

@Steven - thanks, that makes sense... unfortunately no matter how many
times the accounts are removed and re-added (and the stored credentials
in seahorse deleted), this does not resolve the problem here. Have
created a blank user account on the machine and reproduced the problem.

@pad's workaround (2.) worked great for me (Quantal x86_64, Radeon HD
6870).

So netboot needs a separate bug for the same thing, also i cant file it
due to the fact nothing works when the bug appears, I know it only
appears on some g4's as wxl's worked and mine didn't

It appears tm-o got it right: I installed libpam-gnome-keyring on my
Lubuntu 12.10, re-logged in, and now the auto-unlock checkbox was
present. Ticked it, entered password, and the dialog box did not appear
anymore on my next login. Thanks a load!
