editing, /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections/MY_CONNECTION and
setting:
[vpn]
ipsec-secret-type=save
IPSec secret-flags=0
and adding:
[vpn-secrets]
IPSec secret=MYSECRET
I am no longer prompted for anything other than the pass

Hi, I do hit the exact same issue on my systems, its not ubuntu, but for
what's it worth I did tested the vanilla 3.5 and 3.6.3 kernel and the
bug is present there, maybe that can a bit help when you know that none
of the ubuntu's kernel patches have anything to do with the issue. I can
reproduce i
this bug is a pretty big nuisance as you have to remove almost everything lxc
related from several locations in apparmor.d to get it to work again.

One last comment. I noticed that with the [vpn-secrets] block in place,
editing and saving the group password in the NM GUI updates the config
file with the changes. It no longer uses the keyring, but works.

More detail: apparently "ubuntu-bug apport" works (I didn't submit, but
I got to the details/confirmation window) but "ubuntu-bug ubuntu-
desktop" causes the same kind of crash as "ubuntu-bug update-manager"
