appears to let me boot okay. Also remove the sound modules from
/etc/modprobe.d/blacklist.local.conf or delete the whole file to load

like the split that Jason did wasn't clean -- there's some indicate
stuff left behind in ubuntu_notify_support.patch and something to do
with visibility manager that appears to be incomplete, resulting in

eventually come up. If I issue a sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart

I tested brightness control on a Lucid live usb. Before putting my computer on
sleep, brightness control works, albeit not with the shortcut keys but only
through the "Power Management" tab.
After I woke up my computer from sleep the screen stayed black. The computer

worked even on the login screen (lightDM). On this pc, they only work

After upgrade to 12.10, I can't browse devices with bluetooth. Recieving
and sending files works fine (so is pairing).
