On an amd64 system I enabled precise-propsed and upgraded libgnomecanvas2-0 to
2.30.3-1ubuntu1.1.

file with Calc, or it has no menu. I have to start Calc first, then drag

When upgrading from precise to quantal via apt-get dist-upgrade the
upgrade process ends with error(1) and new kernel package isn't
configured. I believe this can lead to unbootable system (not verified
because I did a quick'n'dirty workaround - see below).

Can also confirm this bug with A Lenovo ThinkPad X230 & Quantal. Only
headphones/external speakers work whereas it was fine in Precise.
Before upgrading to Quantal (clean install) I experimened with xubuntu-
desktop and found the reverse problem with it: sound would not play
through headphones - o
