point in the past digikam in fact only installed the icons to oxygen,
which was in conflict with oxygen-icons (as that too provides the
icons). When that got fixed upstream the packaging was not properly

I hit this issue as well. My workaround was to install the ganglia
packages from quantal, which picked up a substantially newer version
that includes the upstream fix.
IMHO, the quantal packages should be backported to precise, given its
status as an LTS release. Ganglia is widely used to monitor
Jean-Louis Dupond, thank you for reporting this and helping make Ubuntu better.

I believe I've found why this happens. Or at least, one way it *could*
happen. With a very similar stacktrace.
While a GtkUIManager is updating its dynamic elements, and it destroys a
menu item, any signal handlers for that destruction might further modify
the UIManager. And the current code is
