I assume this is a debconf issue. config script fails when question
should be shown. Are there debconf related problems with other packages?
E.g. try: dpkg-reconfigure debconf
Please add "set -x" to /var/lib/dpkg/info/apt-build.config (2nd line) and again
show:
DEBCONF_DEBUG=developer dpkg --conf
The underlying problem was that the configuration file couldn't be read by the
mpd-sima user.
In the current 0.9.x versions this was problem was silently suppressed.
In the upcoming 0.10.x version this problem will be shown in a clear
error message:
mpd_sima: error: no read access to "/etc/mpd-s
A still isn't much use. The attached video shows that the image closes
regardless of how little I scroll. The image would remain in the view
pane but closes anyway.

This should have been fixed in 12.04 with the addition of rfkill-store
and rfkill-restore jobs in /etc/init. Can you confirm whether this
actually solves the issue you were facing, with a 12.04 live CD ?
