prompts the user to install flash leading to a nasty error messages.
Either the prompts should be disabled on the live cd or qapt-batch should
enable multiverse once the user hits the 'Install' b

fixing the casper regression, software-properties -> Additional Drivers
is able to install packages from the CD and thus correctly installs
bcmwl-kernel-source on demand. However, it fails to actually load the

My next step(s) will be to convert the current PV setup into a HVM and
try to see whether this also breaks. In case it does I would also run
this HVM disks from a KVM host. I hope to see whether this behaviour is
related to PV, Xen in general or maybe a completely generic problem.

Adding openbox for Lubuntu. But I can't reproduce it on a VM, and the
solution Simon mentioned can't be apply to openbox since there is no
compositor enable for it.

problem exists from a functional perspective is that few people are
probably running KVM guests on Thinkpad laptops and those who run KVM
guests probably dont put their host computer into suspend/hibernate.

I'm having the same problem on 12.04 32bit. Very annoying cause my whole
system freezes up and I have to restart X server. Hope I get a solution
soon cause I really don't want to go back to Windows.
