GIMP-Unity-Integration needs to be improved

We really should update the install instructions... you need external
HDD for installation e.g. usb stick or usb hdd. Otherwise you are hit by
bug 1053030

And I check now, that debian 6 0.5 which working on same PC's quickly
enough, has kernel older, than you mean. It has 2.6.32-5-686.
Are you have any other
idea why can slowly work?
Possible video driver not fit?

I have done the gconftool-2 --set and the Settings-> Keyboard->
