possible I want to use Xen because I can take dumps there). The guest

1. With devstack running it is likely that some portions of the 1G memory are
used by executables.
2. Having the VG on a loop mounted file can add some overhead on the IO as
everything has to
go trhough an additional layer and it is not guaranteed that cons
ok, so it seems another big bottleneck in startup is Xapian calls.
Specifically calls to get_mset() these calls take over 4 seconds in
total on my machine.
Most of these calls are made from _blocking_perform_search() in
softwarecenter/db/enquire.py

I have run System Testing 2x on my amd64 pc and it finds no hardware
errors. I submitted my test results to lauchpad account. FYI, there
are no attachments on my system. It is using wireless internet
connection, and there is nothing attached except the power cord. Also,

This issue still persists. Printing processing is painfully slow. I
wouldn't use MS Office if I didn't have to at work, as Libre Office
doesn't even open the docs I am working with. At least I don't have to
resort to Win7...
So, is anybody looking at this at all?

Rackspace Cloud appears to use different tenants for cloud and object-
