On a clean install of beta 2, I'm not sure how to enter S4 properly, as
it seems to be disabled. I installed the hibernate scripts and ran
them from xterm. The machine comes back up exactly from where it left
off, without even the screen lock.

Steps to reproduce on Ubuntu 12.04.1 LTS with LibreOffice Version
3.6.0.1 (Build ID: 360m1(Build:101)).
1. Open a blank presentation
2. Try to make a slideshow either by the menu choice or the F5 button.
3. Instead of presenting the slides the Impress crashes.

When I ran update-manager -d, clicked upgrade and then upgrade once more
update-manager crashed.
The problem was line 384 of utils.py:
d.window.set_functions(Gdk.FUNC_MOVE)
It seems like this may not be necessary or may not do anything:

When I boot 12.10 beta 2 the loading screen is messed up and then the

This is very bad for you Jonathan, because this indicates a damaged
connection to your harddrive.

When this is a separete drive (with separate wire) you could just do an

Yesterday I did a complete removal of geeqie and a removal of the
~/.cache/geeqie and ~/.config directories and reinstalled geeqie.
rm -rf ~/.cache/geeqie
rm -rf ~/.config/geeqie
Now it works. So now the issue is what caused the problem I had.

Unity users want different things here. Beyond, I think Unity developers
want different things here too, because Ayatana Design has Fix
Committed, but it can't get the other projects to have Fix Committed
too, so it looks like the other projects are disagreeing with Ayatana
Design.

The package data reads "Origin: Ubuntu", so it's not a PPA package.
The bug looks identical to the one in PackageKit itself that could not resolve
multiarch packages.
