wesnoth-1.11 just got accepted in Debian - but please block it from
getting synced into Ubuntu because it's a development release. It's
just uploaded to Debian as convenience feature for the wesnoth community
to give it early testing, but it's not aimed at a stable release.
This is a regression from Python 2. Here's a minimal test case:
$ python -c 'import apt_pkg;
print(apt_pkg.size_to_str(2147483648))'

$ python3 -c 'import apt_pkg;

By an installation of Xubuntu 12.10 beta 2 I enabled the disc encryption
check box.
After the installation, I've to input the Password at the boot screen.
So far so good.
But the Password does not work.
I bet it has something to do with the keyboard layout. I'm useing a

For now we let it then on incomplete. AFAIK the feature for LVM full
disk encryption regarding to bug 1042649 is new, so your report may be
of wider interest.

I've never used any rotation when I experienced this bug. I've had no
problems since downgrading to 280.13. But I suppose eventually I'll
be forced to upgrade because of an incompatibility with a newer
version of X, and then...? Will I have to run old software? buy a
new laptop?

Thank you for taking the time to report this crash and helping to make
this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #1054075, so is being marked as such.
Christopher, I've installed Ubuntu 12.04.1 and WiFi still does not work.
To get working WiFi I need to go into BIOS every time before I boot and
perform"Load default settings". After that Ubuntu starts and WiFi works.
Otherwise, WiFi does not work and Ubuntu does not see WiFi hardware.
