remote-login-service crashed with signal 5 in
g_varian
I was unclear, sorry.
In early 12.04 sound loaded and ran fine.
At some point in routine updates it stopped loading, and in -29-pae it does NOT
load automatically, though
the modprobe loads it (thus providing a workaround).
When I went back (using grub) to -24-pae sound did NOT load. In othe
ACK, but please file bugs, tageted at 12.10, for each of:
* requiring https-only URLs
* navigating away from the authentication pages causes the url to open in the
default browser

I suspect there has been some sort of regression somewhere.
When I updated to the newer version, I had this problem again.
I had the problem on two machines after the upgrade to 1.5.3-0ubuntu3.
The problem seemed to resolve itself when I downgraded to 1.5.3-0ubuntu2~ppa11.

I think you misunderstand my initial bug report.
Hot / cold reboot has got nothing to do with the operating temperature
of the system.
1) A hot reboot is when you select "reboot" in what ever system you are
running.
2) A cold reboot is when you power of the system completely. And then
restart.
