I am experiencing similar issues with 12.04 Unity.
Though I am not sure when/how it occurs, certainly not the 'click top left

can use thinkfan and set the max fan level above 7 to get the fan to run
at top speed. May not be ideal but beats having the machine shutdown due

extension to Banshee). I'm using Banshee 2.4.0, with the liveradio
plugin configured to use my Live365 username/password. The problem does

setup in 5.1 or 7.1 mode start music playback (I use Banshee most frequently,
