Just tried 1.3.6 on a fresh install of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS
On first start, I get no GUI or anything, but the me-tv process is
running in the background somewhere. I have to kill it manually.
When I start again, it complains that the database is an old

FWIW, prior to that boot I redid update-grub and update-initramfs in the
hops it'd "fix" something. Everything stayed the same.
Just to make sure we're on the same page: /dev/sdq2 *IS* my root
partition (normally, and right now). It's not that sdq2 was fetched out
of thin air.

on one of the machines showing this I've just now purged unity-greeter,
we'll see how it goes after reboot.

you still see crashes after the update, please enable precise-proposed
from software-manager and run the updates again. It'll install a new
kernel that has more fixes. Report back how it goes.

I am getting the same error, when I open the Update Manager I get the
following message:

Confirming this on Debian sid (unstable). Gnome-documents and tracker are
properly installed.
I really don't understand the push towards 3.4 with loss of features (this is
not the only package). Little disgruntled (but I'll be fine :) )
