mdadm is event driven via udev. The special part in the initramfs is
the failure hook so that a degraded array will only be activated after a
timeout. I'm not sure if we want to auto degrade arrays post boot, but
I suppose if we did, we could move that logic from the failure hook to
the udev rule

The password change not working is a bug in the libpam-sss pam config
file, either install libpam-cracklib or drop 'use_authtok' from the
/usr/share/pam-configs/sss file (from the Password line). Dropping the

Wine breaks window decorations for all
Affects my wifes Acer Aspire One Netbook. Built-in webcam used to work
in 10.04, and no longer works after 12.04 Precise reinstall. No
reference to existance of the webcam in output of dmesg, lsusb and
lspci. No /dev/video or any variation thereof. All updates and backports
installed as of 14 May 2

was an attempt to fix this bug by applying the last patch of

I experienced the same problem and found that fonts are bold with Oracle
Java 7, OpenJdk 7, but ok with sun-java-6 and openjdk 6.
