I just updated to Precise (64 bit) a couple weeks ago. Since then same problem
as bug description, printing often fails on the ML-1710. When I click print,
the printer will warm up, but not print. No job showing in Printer Status. I
can get it to print by turning printer off then back on aga

Just adding some info. When I add the "nomodeset" flag to the kernel
boot parameters, the screen now appears, but fixed in 800x600 mode. I

No, /etc/lsb_release is indeed not. Only the "lsb_release" binary is an
LSB standard, but having to call a Python script from other programs
just to get the current release name is _very_ expensive.

The problem is it overrides other software, but it can handle plain text
(some subtitles are marked as such), so I think it it a mistkae to
remove the mimetype altogether.

Any news about this? Please, I can't use Unity 3D because this. At any time my
session is closed and ALL MY WORK IS LOST. I'm using now Unity 2D, and I tried
other shells, but I really like Unity 3D. I always used Unity 3D (and Gnome2 +
Compiz in the past) wihtout ANY issues in this machine.

helping to make Ubuntu better. The issue you are reporting is an
upstream one and it would be nice if somebody having it could send the
bug to the developers of the software by following the instructions at
http://wiki.documentfound
I had a wireless keyboard collecting dust in a cupboard for which I
still had the receiver plugged in. Recently I put a graphic tablet in
the cupboard, on top of the wireless keyboard...
Turns out you're not supposed to hold the scroll lock button all the
time.
