I've pinpointed the problem to when the window being maximized spans
both monitors it becomes maximized on the first monitor even though I
dragged and snapped the window to the top of the second monitor in order
to maximize it.

After a fresh install from 11.04 to 12.10 I can no longer use Super+U,
Super+J, Super+M, for audio controls (volume up, volume down, mute).
I assume this is caused by the shortcuts overlay. Disabling it in CCSM
does not help, the keybinds remain useless (unless I replace 'Super'

I am another user of WLI-UC-GNM2, and trying to use it on linux.
Unfortunately, it is not working properly yet, and I can see the same symptom
as Nobuto's comment #5.
As long as checking on my PC, the latest Ubuntu 12.04 kernel (3.2.0-24-generic)
is still compiled without CONFIG_RT2800U
This doesn't seem to be an issue with empathy in Precise. Could anyone
with this issue in a non-alpha/beta Precise install please let us know

figured out how to reproduce the bug everytime (at least in my case):
1) Maximize a window to the secondary monitor
2) Unmaximize the window on the secondary monitor.
3) Resize the window so that it is too big to fit in the primary
Ubuntu Precise contains version 23.3 which according to the above
comment should contain fix for this issue. Could you please try to
upgrade your Ubuntu and see if the problem is solved?

Updating my Mandriva Linux system has been without this manual
intervention. This has been a growing problem with Ubuntu Linux where
the wrong software sources are automatically used. Should this continue
to happen where Ubuntu causes these upgrade problems where other Linux
distros like Mandriva
Perhaps 7.0.27 doesn't have the negative interaction with with the patch
like 7.0.24/26 do...?

Cannot click flash player settings in samll flash player. Settings

they do open in a new tab. This happens only when clicking on a link
in gmail.

Mah, I don't know the structure of the live session, but sound really strange
that we work on a light environement as unity-2d and cut out the user without
pae support, but i can get wrong.
have you tried with the alternate version ?
