who are larger than the display you want to maximize them on (but will
fit on the other display), these windows get maximized on the other

About xsane, I did not try to scan a blank page but it seems that when
the lock button is on, the scanner return a blank page. On Windows with
the Canon's software it works in the same way so there is none problem
with that.

After a little research I found out, that packages on hold can prevent
the upgrade process and I immediately checked if there are any hold
packages. grub-common was on hold and after I changed it to install, the
upgrade works.

corrupt. There is an easy way to verify the integrity of the Ubuntu ISO

KDE Remote Desktop Client (KRDC) is not affected by this bug, but it

Let me add that the /var/run/nm-dns-dnsmasq.conf contains 3 servers set
by nm on activation of the wireless interface and received via dhcp.
The first one is internal. The other ones are external.
