Since util-linux 2.20-1-1, and included in Precise, setarch has a
--uname-2.6 switch which enables the UNAME26 personality.

Sorry for my ignorance, but the FAQ and the page you linked to doesn't
quite give me enough information.
Firstly, what kind of risks are involved in installing the latest
upstream kernel?
Also, are you talking about installing /~kernel-
ppa/mainline/daily/current ?
