Problem solved! I'm not sure why, but GRUB was installed in the pendrive
and not in the hardisk. I have ejecuted grub-install /dev/sda and now
boot perfectly :)

and typing reboot. But it's still a serious issue and we should not be

OK, I think I have found the reason for this bug. It is not due to stage
2 in power nap, but rather stage 1 - during powersave mode the ethernet
configuration for the card is changed, which deactivates wake-on-lan.
Since power nap first enters in stage1 then stage2, when the computer is
turned off
drm_kms_helper.poll=0
to the kernel line in /boot/grub/menu.lst does the trick unfortunately this is
only a workaround so the screen does not flicker

I should also mention that I updated from 11.10 to 12.04, and it worked
at the beginning. Then I purged and installed php again, and I also did
the linux-headers updates, and after restarting ubuntu, netbeans won't
start anymore.
