Ok, I tested the new 3.2.0-14 and discovered that GFXMODE had nothing to do
with it. I was timing the holding of 'shift' such that I would only sometimes
get the grub screen (ie, I pressed it while I could still see the bios screen
rather than immediately after it went away-- sometimes it worked
IMHO this is a show-stopper bug for Unity .

I have 6 different machines (desktop, laptop, VM) on which Ubuntu 10.04 as been
installed.
on every machines, after a couple of days the system was installed, when i
check my syslog file, the logs are not displayed, here's an example:

Can you take a look into your «Pictures» folder? It could be a non-fatal
error becasue it dumps screenshots there silently now.
