Just reporting back that restarting X works for me, and seems to provide
a longer time of normal mouse behaviour. I am now about three hours in,

I'm using a ralink wireless usb dongle from linksys with the driver
RT3572STA and NetworkManager doesnt handles it well so I disabled it and
manage my connection manually with iwconfig. So I get the message also
on software center about no network connection so I had to go back to
apt-get. Also it

version of precise. Hard to say what/when it was fixed, but it's working

Unity's dash and tray don't distort. Web browsers like google chrome
