Yes, I'm the process of doing new packaging. I'm syncing with Debian
(mostly), and I'm using the removed open-vm-source pkg to return open-
vm-toolbox to full package status.
I didn't know what Debian was going to do with the removed Toolbox GUI,
since they're keeping it, I'm going to return it.

this software better. This particular crash has already been reported
and is a duplicate of bug #902634, so is being marked as such. Ple
I don't think this is fixed.
The bug description says:
"It seems needlessly cramped to truncate the window title to put the menus on
top of it"
Which contradicts the solution that Bryce describes:
"The menu replaces the title"
I believe Martin meant that the menus should appear to the right of
Er, looks like a hardware problem.
echo 0 > /sys/devices/system/cpu/cpu21/online
makes the system work like a champ. D'oh!

I don't have an exploit to test this against, but the patch comes
directly from the Debian security update for Squeeze and I compared the
code and it's identical in all releases, so I would consider it
validated through code inspection.

Folks - not sure if this problem is unique to Chromium.
I actually found the same issue with Banshee today. After some
investigation of that problem I see there is a multitude of Cairo
Assertion Failure bugs reported for Banshee as well - which all point to
a mysterious "private" bug https://bugs.

I found that Dell posted a BIOS A08 on 9/28/2011 for Vostro 3550

how about giving it a shot?
