I was too impatient... Mounting with mount command get the same error: empty
directory. I think it's something related to "nounix" option. So, it's not
related to autofs package, but to CIFS and samba server.

I also get this problem - randomly (and quite frequently when using
keyboard shortcuts to switch around apps & workspaces) the keyboard
focus is lost.
A quick double Alt-Tab usually fixes the problem, but the frustration
factor is very high.
A key culprit appears to be Eclipse - it very frequentl

I still get the same error I have installed the new version although I
also installed to old version from source eariler. Is there anyway I can
delete pithos completely (both source and PPA copy) and do a fresh
install and see if that fixes the error
