Before adding ppa:vanvugt/compiz, I had lagging type 1 as well as type 2.
windows move smoothly for some time when I restarted unity, but after some time

I don't think thats the issue, as this is occurring for me on a
processor with the cmov instruction.

Tested and verified this fix through the various pre-proposed kernels
since it was committed, and now using the 3.0.0-15.24 kernel in
Proposed.

I have the same problem. When the freeze starts, the mouse is getting
slower and slower, i can still minimize windows, but i cant start
programs or do ctrl+alt+fX. Then after a few seconds the system freezes
completely and my mouse does not move anymore. The only thing i can do
is restart by pushin
This probably isn't a firmware issue. All of my Intel 620x adapters work
in 2.6Ghz. 802.11n is definitely problematic, but we're not going to get
a Maverick fix from Intel.
