Fresh install of Xubuntu 11.10 misses gvfs-backends packag
The best way as far as I know is to disable checking by editing
/etc/fstab as a root and modifying the digit in the last column.
Replacing a 1 or a 2 by a zero should avoid the error.

There are many crash reports for this plugin (e.g. "xkb-plugin lost my
config"), so I'm not sure it's a great idea to add it in the default
install.

I don't know if it could help, but I just read a comment, that the
ambient light sensor is working on 700Z5A (
http://schibum.blogspot.com/2011/11/ubuntu-oneiric-on-samsung-

Many of the used components seems to be equal to the 700Z3A.

i should also add it doesn't seem to be in the current daily isos, at
least from last time i checked. at what point will one be able to resume
proper testing of the isos again?

I've taken the syslog information during "update-manager" was running
(see attachment).
What I noticed is the gap between the timestamps:
- Dec 11 12:07:27 localhost anacron[905]: Job `cron.daily' started
- Dec 11 12:24:28 localhost anacron[905]: Normal exit (1 job run)
