Disable udev and use sudo or another auto-mounting package. I wrote udev

Scans are saving in .jpg, .tif, .tiff and .png when choosing to scan as
a photo. Scan will save as .tif (was not sure which other formats to
try to save as) when scanned as text.

Found in 11.10 Oneiric 64 bit.
I changed my background to one of the stock backgrounds, when I went to change
back to my normal background in my ~/Pictures directory it was grayed out and
it would not let me open it. I had to make a copy of the file with a different

The man page for mutt has for the -a option:
-a file [...]
Attach a file to your message using MIME. When attaching single
or multiple files, separating filenames and recipient addresses with "--" is
mandatory, e.g.
mutt -a image.jpg -- addr1 or mutt -a img.j

I get a message by update notifier that I have 3 updates to install
(screenshot-1), I select show updates, then click on install updates, the first
time after about a minute I get the same window of update manager with the same
updates to install but it hasen't updated them

On my daughter's pc, the file loads without any problem in OO 3.1 for windows.

then i selected the apps lense.
then i typed "skype" and skype appeared (twice!?).
i pressed enter.

I was having an issue with the Globe and Mail flash videos and installed
the PP flashplugin. Since then, I have lost sound in other flash videos
as well.
I checked a page I wrote in HTML5 with a non-flash embedded audio file
and it runs just fine with good sound.
